• Health Savings Accounts: HSAs are made up of a federally qualified high deductible plan and are tax-sheltered. This costs less in premium than a conventional plan and covers the cost of bills that go over the deductible.

Assurant's short term medical plans are great for those between jobs, those waiting for group coverage from their employer, those workers laid off or on strike, recent college graduates, seasonal employees and early retirees who are waiting for their Medicare benefits to begin. Coverage is provided for anywhere between 30 and 365 days.
