WellPoint Pharmacy Management includes over 52,000 pharmacies, about 85 percent of the pharmacies in the United States, and serves over 27 million members. Through UniCare's Prescription Drug Plan, customers receive benefits for covered prescription drugs, whether they are filled at an in- or out-of-network pharmacy. However, they will usually pay less at a network pharmacy.

UniCare also offers the HealthyExtensions plan, which encourages a healthier lifestyle by offering discounts on health and fitness services and products, including fitness club memberships, nutritional supplements, weight loss products, skin care products, parenting advice, massage therapy, hearing aids, laser vision correction, prescription eyewear, and alternative healthcare information.

Through UniCare's MedCall program, customers can speak with a nurse counselor over the telephone, via a toll-free number, about their healthcare questions. Customers can also access an audio library with over 200 audio tapes about health topics.
